StarCraft II !!!!

Hey, sorry for not updating the blog for quite awhile :) was either busy or too tired.

Monday (28th July 2009) :

Nothing special happened :)
After reading the IN section of The Straits Times,
I decided to enter the "In-the-spot-light" contest,
which is to submit either photos, essays, poems or songs.
The winner will receive either a Straits time bag or goodie bag.

So.... At night, I chose one of my picture.
Its enhanced with iphoto from mac,
so i'm not sure if thats fair or not.

I named it "Glory Of Autumn"

Yeah, its a good name for that picture,
But, Singapore does not experience the four seasons....
I realized that after 2 days prior to submitting it.
Should have named it "Glory of Summer" .....

Tuesday :
Nothing Special.

Wednesday :
I kept thinking of StarCraft II, cause in the past (1998),
Theres a previous version : Starcraft 1.
It was called the 'Legend' Game as it was the best game at that time.

Thursday : Nothing Special.

Friday :

Hmm... forgot much.
I went for Scout meeting.
Though the Physical Training was tough at that day (I did not have my lunch, no energy to do vigorous exercise)

After Opening Ceremony, theres a unit gathering,
Everyone fall-in in their respective patrols.
Shaun Sir intended to reward those patrols who did well in Founder's Cup.
Thereafter, the NPC (National Patrol Camp) participants were called out to receive,
their silver NPC badge, NPC Souvenir Badge, and Certificate of participation.
I thought I was not going to get anything, as i m only a reserve,
I could have entered as one of the team members, but I did not come for many NPC meetings.
I knew that myself.
Shaun Sir announced "The last but not the least, our fellow Scout who went through thick and thin with us, ending up as our team's Reserve, Kevin Tan!" (He made me sound so equal to the rest of the others :P lol)

I was happy to receive a certificate and a Souvenir badge which represented that I participate in the trainings.
Even though I could not get the NPC silver badge.
Really glad, really.
That renewed my sense of scouting.

Everything was fun.
During Footdrill, I was the only Sec 2 to wear full uniform, as I did not bring my PE T-shirt for a half uniform.

Its been awhile since I last marched, not really used to it, and I've forgotten many drills.
About 30-45mins into the drill, I was chosen to command the rest of the sec 2.
Yeah, I did screw up at one part, cause I wasn't sure about something.
PL Zhi Wei keeo assuring me, saying "Relax, Kevin, this is just a practise, don't have to be nervous"
Alot of Good PLs in Scouts, though sometimes they might be strict, but afterall,
Its a necessity to keep discipline at top-notch.

We were to play the game called Capture the Flag.
Secondary 2s are in-charge of taking leadership of the Secondary 1s, to build tripods.

Towards the end of the meeting, Ben Sho sir, told me something which I will not type out.
After the meeting, Gary sir gathered those scouts who were once Cadet scouts.
If anyone who was from Zhonghua primary school reads this, they would remember me wearing a water-melon cap.
The purpose of gathering all the Cadet scouts was to find out who is interested in taking up The CCA award. (Chief Comissioner Award, if I m not wrong).
He also said that the members MUST be committed.

I loved Scouts, but theres a few camps I dislike.

Saturday :

Intended to go for Mayflower Secondary School's Scout Campfire, but I was afraid that I had ironed the NPC souvenir badge at the wrong place, so I did not go... In the end, they had only 5 people there to do cheers and bombings. Sorry! >.>

Sunday :

Used the computer till Tuition, at 3:30 pm. When the Class before our science tuition class ended, the 2 boys, one big and tall guy , and the other, short and puny, came out of the class. I don't know what they discussed in a group with the 2 girls.
But I find it suspicious.
I stared at them, and the dude stopped talking and look at me, wondering what I'm thinking.
Dawn raised her head and looked at me too.
Hmmm.... Something related to me?
I don't care.

Monday :

Bleh... Either my pic did not get selected or they would publish it next week...

After School, I used facebook.
Bryan Hoon shared this on Facebook : "To all 2E5, please come down early so we can skate early for PE!!!!" (or something like that).
I commented " I hate gays of 2E3 , especially those who showsoff in skating "
Adam out of the blue, typed in " Your lame"
I thought he was referring to me, and there goes my vulgarities...
!@#$ $@!#%^^&
And to Beehoon too, cause he removed his last status and replaced it with " SO LAMEE!
After all that incident, they explained to me, one by one
Bee hoon said this "I was talking to Adam and Uzen Tan, not you"
Adam told me over FB's chat "I was referring to Bryan Hoon's status"

At night, submitted the essay to IN again....

Tuesday :
I just remember (ART) Tan Cheng Ying told me this "Kevin, you have talents in this, don't you think so?"
I was like... "uh.. yeah"
Ms. Tan : "Keep it up".

After school, studied with Michael Foong, since I lost my 2B Geography textbook.
